Resurfacing is supposed to last about 15 to 20 years. Of course, if you give a poor cleaning, the treated surface can be stained. If you leave a chip or scratch untreated for long, that surface may develop any kind of mold.

No surface endures anything forever, but our special materials and techniques can extend your surface life for another 15 years more. 20 if it is perfectly maintained.
