When you have lots of satisfied clients, you start to see a common pattern about what their doubts are. To help you be clearer about these same subjects here are the most often inquiries.
Will my tub look painted after refinished?
The short answer is no. We make sure every surface we work on looks new. You pick the color, and we’ll leave the surface with a smooth and even gloss. If you can spot the difference in painting, we’ll handle it until you can’t.
How durable are refinished surfaces?
It all depends on the care you give after our work is done. We are not going to lie. If you use high corrosive acids to clean, it will probably last less time than usual. We use the finest technologies and materials, so how durable it is will depend on you.
Is refinishing and resurfacing the same?
For practical means, we say yes. And we take that liberty because we work bathtubs, tiles, countertops, showers, vanities, and sinks. If we were working on wooden floors the story would be different. With us, you can refer to both as the same technique to revive your spaces.
How long will resurface last?
Under average conditions, our work remains as good as new for about 15 years. However, with the proper care, it may last up to 20 years. Long enough to renew style in your bathroom or kitchen.
What is the cost difference between resurfacing and remodeling or replacing?
The cost depends on the services you may need. On average resurfacing, for a bathtub, you can save up to 70% of the replacement cost. An average bathtub replacement can cost 3.000$. Imagine the money you can save with our resurfacing work.
How long does it take to refinish a bathtub?
Normally, it will take a few hours for your bathtub to be fully refinished. 5 or 7 hours. However, to let everything be ready to use, it’s recommended to wait 24 hours.
Does it leave a strong odor after resurfacing?
We use only fine products. Nevertheless, all work has a certain odor. For instance, using solvents and bonding agents will leave their peculiar smell. For how long? It depends on many factors, but we use special ventilation to exhaust the odor until it goes.
After 24 hours you will smell less of that odor, and after 48 hours it will be gone. It is still faster than fully replacement solvent agents smell.
Do you only paint it white?
Your vanities and tiles, or even your bathtub don’t have to be white. We know that. Your favorite color of choice is the one your bathroom or kitchen should have. Of course, we can assist you on which would be better for your house, but the choice is yours.
Is refinishing just for bathrooms?
No. It is for tiles, bathtubs, sinks, showers, vanities, countertops, and more. Just ask us on the evaluation visit and see how many places we can make look new again.
