The Resurfacing Experts

How to refinish your bathtub?

Warning: The following text is not meant to inspire you to refinish or resurface anything by yourself. There is nothing like The Resurfacing Experts kind of job. Discretion is advised.

Refinishing and resurfacing are processes that can be traced back to the late 80s or early 90s. So nearly 30 years of work and evolution sets refinishing as a high-rank kind of work. You can perform this over surfaces like cultured marble, ceramic, acrylic, and more.

Refinishing or resurfacing leaves a badly damaged surface even, glossy, and beautiful again. To do that, The Resurfacing Experts use top bonding materials and cleaning agents. Then your surfaces live another 15 to 20 years.

The process saves money. You save from 60% to 75% of the total cost of a replacement when you choose to refinish. It may also save you time. While remodeling or a replacement takes weeks until it’s done, refinishing will only take a few days.

For you to see how cool and less messy the resurfacing process is, here is what it’s like step by step.

Step 1

First, we protect all surrounding areas to prevent any odor or sticky materials from touching other things than intended. We understand that one of the reasons you selected refinishing is because it is avoiding hassle.

Step 2

Here is where the deep cleaning process takes place. Refinishing really starts when the surface to work is free from all kinds of scum. So mineral, oil, and even soap leftovers are taken to ensure the effectiveness of our work.

Step 3

Using special bonding agents, we fill all cracks, chips, and small gaps from affected surfaces. It is important for us to give an even appearance to all surfaces treated before applying anything else.

Step 4

Then it is time to protect. We apply in this step a protective coat to prevent further and future wear. After applying it, we are almost done.

Step 5

We use a fine finish spray compressor to apply color and the final acrylic coat. This will be dry after a few hours, but it is recommended to wet the surface again after 18 or 24 hours. And there you have it: your “new” bathroom or kitchen countertop is ready.
